LBCK – Real Caviar (Instrumental) + Viceroy - Sunny Daze

Wow so apparently I have been missing out on a ton of fresh funk. Today's mission is to remedy that. Here is a fresh track from Long  Breach City Kids titled 'Real Caviar". I chose to put up the instrumental on this one because I don't think the Rhymes of Chuuuwe are that fresh. Hopefully, you agree. I also added a little bonus video. Dig in!

James Blake – The Wilhelm Scream (Poindexter Remix)

Poindexter is coming through hard with this fink infused remix of James Blake's track "The Wilhelm Scream". Don't let the name Pointdexter fool you, this  dude is pumping out more than binary. Pointdexter comes through with that futuristic 1980s flow that I've been missing so much. The last track I could compare to this jam was Breakbot's track 'Baby I'm Yours'.. This track will be going into heavy rotation on my playlist. Don't miss this track!

The French Express - Volume 2

The French Express just released their latest sample of their artists in Volume 2. All in all a pretty solid line up, but I got to give a shout out to StewRat. His remix of Dose's track 'Heart of fools gold' and his own track 'The key' are nice little chill out tracks for the gloomy weather we've got over here in Prague.

SKRILLEX-BREATHE

I have been waiting for this track to come out, so I could stop listening to shit recordings from concerts. I saw him perform this in concert and it was an awesome track to slow things down to. Skrillex is talented.

The Hood Internet - Don't Play No Trash (Beastie Boys x Santigold x Weird Tapes)

I haven't checked out The Hood Internet in a while. Fortunately, this meant that I had a stack of fresh tracks waiting for me when I came back. I first heard these guys back in 07' with their infamous album 'The Hood Internet VS Chicago'. After that it's been a love affair. This track showcases the strengths of the group by doing what they do best, making fresh beats.

Kavinksy – Nightcall (Breakbot remix)

My girl showed me this track the other day and I couldn't resist posting it. Breakbot is back and funkier than ever. He took Kavinsky's dark electro track 'nightcall' (from the movie Drive) and turned it into some studio 54 ish that even the Ryan Gosling would approve of.

Mark Ronson - Record Collection (Perseus Remix)

Mark Ronson and his band The Business INTL came out with the album 'Record Collection' back in 2010. The result was a huge amount of sweet remixes. Out of the masses, the Perseus remix tops my list.   This track was a perfect find. Yesterday, I had just come home from a the Forum 2000 with the Dalai Lama here in Prague and I was looking for some nice grooves to go with my mood. Then I stumbled upon this little gem. It has been a long time since I found a jam that I dig this much. I guess the Dalai Lama was right, it's all about......... patience!
